Crysis is a first-person shooter computer game series produced by German developer Crytek. The series revolves around a team of army protagonists with nanosuits, technologically progressed coat of mails that provide boosted physical stamina, speed, protection, and also cloaking capabilities. The protagonists challenge versus aggressive North Oriental soldiers, greatly armed mercenaries, and a race of technologically sophisticated aliens called the Ceph, who showed up in the world numerous years back as well as have recently been awakened. The series contains 3 main installments, a standalone offshoot of the first game with a different multiplayer title, and also a compilation.
Already over a year ago, the Remastered new edition of the first Crysis game has appeared for all common platforms. At the first, the version for the switch on the market came back then - here you read our test! The other platforms, namely PC, PlayStation and Xbox, came to enjoy the new edition only later - this test will be here again. Now, in the form of the trilogy, the whole Crysis series, consisting of parts 1 to 3, is reissued. So far already known. Well, however, there is also a concrete release date for the trilogy of the German developer.
Release already in October!
The Crysis Remastered Trilogy appears for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, even for all platforms on the same day. As is known, it does not take much longer to the publication, because the release is already on October 15, 2021 (Friday), so today in exactly six weeks!
Also comes at disc & cartridge
On October 15, Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 also appear in the Remastered variants for a single purchase in the stores of platforms, as 2020 already the new edition of the first part. Also on the same day, the Trilogy for Xbox and PlayStation comes as a physical version on disc in the trade, the Cartridge version for the Nintendo Switch appears later. The physical game for the switch is still one of 20 random maps with artworks from the games signed by various members of the developer team.

On the Next Gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, the Remastered Trilogy games run with dynamic resolutions between Full HD and 4K for 60 frames per second. Further technical improvements to the original are available, for example, in lighting effects and high-resolution textures. Due to the lower power of the switch, the games run on the lower resolution Nintendo console, lower frame rate and worse graphic.
Prices of Crysis Remastered Trilogy
The price for the Crysis Remastered Trilogy (Buy Now 49.99 €) is on all platforms at 49.99 euros. The new editions of Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 are available for 29.99 euros for a single purchase. So the Trilogy comes overall cheaper - and also includes the remake of the first Crysis part, which is also sold individually for 29.99 euros.
