Wow Patch 9.2 was the last major content update for Shadowlands. However, there will be more updates next few months ( Shadowlands even get a 4th season! ) for the current extension. With patch 9.2.5, which we are already allowed to test today on the test server of World of Warcraft (now buy now), even a small story comes into play, which is quite exciting.
WOW Patch 9.2.5 brings light into the dark
We reported a few months ago that had surfaced a mysterious raven in Oribos . Since we have made all sorts of guesses who could be this quiet observer. The said raven appeared at the beginning of Shadowlands in the capital of the Shadowlands. He sits on the outer ring of Oribos and straightens to the portal to Revendreth.
His nameplate reveals that the watchful raven is not a simple bird, he counts as Humanoid and belongs to the Kirin Tor. A magical raven belonging to the Kirin Tor. Sure, the guess is obvious that the magical bird nobody is less than the archmagier Khadgar. With patch 9.2.5 we finally get certainty! Khadgar was actually in the shadows all the time.
Jaina and Khadgar: Two old friends in Oribos
After the death of the Chairman, Jaina Prachtmeer returns to Oribos. On the outer ring of the capital, she finally meets Khadgar, which just returns from his circular flight. Both talk about their adventures in the Shadowlands and their plans for the future. The people of Wowhead have filmed the meeting. Look at the video best yourself.

Khadgar: Hello, Jaina. Jaina: Khadgar! It's Good To See You Again. When WE Last Parted, I Regret That -- Khadgar: Those Were Perilous Times. The Legion's Attack, Then The War... I Think WE Both Needed to Find Our Own Way Through.
Khadgar: I Have No Hard Feelings. ONLY FRIENDSHIP. JAINA: I FEEL THE SAME. But Surely You did not come all the way to the shadowlands just to find me. Khadgar: no. For Years I've Read About This Place in Medivh's Books. I Stood Atop Karazhan and Caught Glimpses Through the Veil. Khadgar: I Suppose I Wanted to Gauze Upon The Realms of Death With Mine Own Eyes Before... JAINA: IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT, KHADGAR? _ _Khadgar: I Feel The Weight of Years Upon Me, Jaina. The Burdens Carried. The Choices Made. Khadgar: hmph! Forgive The Musings of Old Man. I Think I'll Look Around and Lake Thesis Shadowlands A Bit. Lake What Wonders I Can Find. Khadgar: I've Heard Tales of Conniving Brokers, A City of Secrets, And A Land of Ancient Knowledge. How Intriguing! _ _JAINA: SOUNDS LIKE YOU'LL BE KEEPING BUSY! Just Do not Leave Without Saying Goodbye. I've Missed You, Old Friend. Khadgar: Count on it, Jaina. BE SEING YOU.
Khadgar speaks in puzzles
The ore magician feels the last of the years on his shoulders. Well, the curse of the medivh let him age magically fast, but Khadgar is not old and frail enough to think about death. He seems little credible that he came to the shadowland only as a simple tourist. Conversation with Janina Khadgar expresses very careful, as if he does not want to betray why he actually came to the shadowlands. That he held out from all stories, though the fate of the entire cosmos stood at the game is also a mystery. Maybe we learn more about how Blizzard will reveal the next WOW extension on 19 April 2022!
