This year has been full of surprises as video game ads, this includes titles such as Fire Emblem Engage, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Need for Speed Unbound among many others. However, one of those who surely impacted Taken 8's revelation, next installment of the great fighting franchise owned by Banzai NAMC.
And while the announcement is there, the release date has not had any update, or at least that is what was thought recently. As reported by Insider Gaming, Banzai NAMC recently declared in a new call with investors that Taken 8 could be launched at some point in 2023, which could occur in the fiscal year.
This means that the launch would be April 1, 2023, being the last date on March 31, 2024. At the same time, it would arrive to compete directly with the rival franchise created by Cap com, Street Fighter, since it will also soon launch its sixth Official video game.
Something that is worth mentioning the launch, is that it is totally directed to the new generation, that means that it will only be launched in new consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X/s. This can give you an advantage, since in the case of Street Fighter VI, it will also reach PS4, and that can be key to demonstrate much more technology.
For now, we will have to wait for an official announcement by Banzai NAMC.

Editor's note: Hopefully Taken 8 make an act of appearance, so we could consider 2023 as one of the years with the most promising games. To leave it easy, Zelda will be arriving: Tiers of the Kingdom, Spider-Man 2, Star field, among other greats.
